My name is John Fogarty. I am a freelance photographer, and I have been making photographs for approximately 35 years.

Many photographers use a portrait photography approach to photograph a wedding and pose every photo. They avoid taking candid photos and photographing the actual wedding ceremony. Their photos are portraits that “represent” what took place at your wedding.  I photograph weddings using a portrait journalistic approach. I use a combination of candid, portrait, and photos of the ceremony to capture what “actually” took place at your wedding. Photographs are frozen moments in time, which, if taken properly, not only help us remember the event pictured, but also recall the emotion of the moment.

I use professional-quality digital camera equipment, and the latest computer software to process each photograph.
